Another intrepid fans question - vs. Caspers wiring

I ordered some fans off of amazon... all seems good except the wiring connector that mates to the caspers harness.... it mates but does not slide together all the way..The connector seems to be the right shape and design - they do mate, but not in all the way for a full connect..

was there a certain year intrepid fan? Or maybe these replacement fans have the wrong connector.

mine has a little red locking slide that has to be in the right position for them to go together and then i slide the lock to keep them from coming apart. I'm not 100% certain mine is Caspers but I think it is!

These are the plugs I'll be using I've been hearing a lot of good and bad things so I decided to use my own plugs

I bought a fan for a 2003... possibly it's a red tab issue, I'll look at that.

I saw one that the pins were bent a little, and it wouldn't slide together...
