Almost blew an engine...whew....

I haven't got around to driving my GN for about 3 yrs..Bought new cars like a GT500 and a srt8 challenger. So its a nice Sunday and what the heck ,dust off the GN and flog it some..A new battery and it's out the garage..SO.....after it warms up I punch it...all of a sudden its a 30 lbs+ boost and made a backfire..I let off instantly hoping for the best..no smoke or knock...got back home to my garage and started looking for the problem...every thing looked hooked up,no rubber hoses loose..so I looked at the waste gate actuator ..seemed good..BUT...the lever to the puck had seized...I guess from storage. some PB blaster and a vice grip got it working again..drove it again...now 22 lbs of boost...much better... . Dodged a bullet this time..very lucky.

If you still got 3 yr old gas in the tank, get rid of it.

I bought 6 gallons of 110 before driving it.. and a new battery..
