Aftermarket Rpm Gauge Wont work when I step on the brakes.

I just redid my brakes and now my aftermarket rpm gauges goes to 0 when I step on the brakes,it works fine during driving. Any ideas????

Where did you tap into to get power for the gauge. Also, did it work before you worked on your brakes?

The guage was in the car when I bought it always worked until I did the brakes.

You could check under the dash to see if the brake pedal is hitting something other than that I would just reverify power/grounds. Make sure you're not tapped into a lighting ciruit for anything but the lights. I doubt it's a ground but check that anyway.

What did you do to the brakes? Trace the tach wires to point of ground and to to where it connects to the electrical system.....there's got to be a loose connection somewhere!!
