Aeromotive Fuel pump ?

Iam using the Aeromotive fuel pump and have a question for those that also use this pump. My pump does not hold any pressure when the car is shut off. I was needing to know if this is normal for this pump as I changed the injectors on the car at the same time I changed the fuel pump. I have been having a popping in third gear now for a little while and trying to determine if it might be fuel related. Thanks for any help

Unless you use a checkvalve the pump will loose pressure...both my SX and Aeromotive did this. Your popping might be a rich condition. When I went to this monster pump set up I had a hell of a time getting the fuel trimmed back in high gear. The car would run crisp in 1 and 2 then fall soft in high gear. At the time I had JL progrommaning my chips. Joe pulled fuel in 3rd and the popping went away....good luck!
