I asked if there was an AEM EMS that would work with the 87 Buick Grand National, post located here:

I SO wish that AEM would come out with a PnP app that would cover many of the GM boxes - including the GN!
It could be made to work but the signals for ignition synch and whatnot would have to be looked at. You might end up having to run a trigger wheel and you might end up running different coils. Can you tell us anything about the trigger signals and cam synch on the GN?
Can anyone explain what he means by this? Thanks much,
