Advice needed on mounting proportioning valve and emergency brake

I have a Wilwood proportioning valve and front brake kit, and a Right Stuff rear disc conversion going on the car and need help with installing that valve. I'm not sure where I should tie it into, and if I should remove or keep the stock one. The directions for the Wilwood one are pretty generic and without any pics at all. I have been looking on here and haven't really found much as far as diagrams for a proportioning valve like this one.

If anyone here can help me out I'd appreciate it.

The other issue I have is with the emergency brake cables that came with my conversion kit. The driver side is way too short. The housing for the cable works, but not the actual cable since that connects about half way under the car. I'd like to just use my original cables since they are in good shape, but the cables are too long. I'd need to cut them and re crimp the nut on each end. That is something I don't have a tool for and haven't been able to find in any parts store. Any thoughts on that?

I tig weld the "nut" on the end of the cable.
The prop valve goes in the rear brake line. [Like this. This is on my 55.
I also have 1 on my T Type. I can shoot a pic if needed.
