Hi All,

Drove the car 3 blocks:), brake light comes on:confused:, I think to myself "Hey, that's weird!":frown:, tried the brakes and the pedal is really hard to push:eek:. Good thing I'm basically coasting down my side street 'cause the car isn't really stopping so good:mad:!! I wheel the machine back home and find that the reservoir is at the proper level. With the key off I pump the brakes 10 times, turn the key on and the PM pump runs for about 7 - 8 seconds and the passenger side of the reservoir is almost empty. Am I right in assuming that the accumulator is shot?

I checked out that option through Kirban's and GBodyParts but was wondering what the pros and cons are of going that way. Is there anybody here that would know??

I got my vacuum setup from red regal for the GN. Car stops wonderfully, much better than my powermaster car. Do it and don;t look back

I had the same thing going on - lucky I wasn't on the highway or at speed

when it happened.

CHECK the fuse in the box under the steering column.

It is pretty dumb to have the brakes wired into the fuse box, but it fixed it.

Then carry plenty of spare fuses for future, or go to vacuum set up.

the vaccum set up only runs 135.00 at auto zone lifetime . thats the power booster and master
