Accumulator Ball

My 87 GN has the original stock accumulator ball on the brake system. Many folks I have talked to over the years have said (and shown me) theirs with a yellow stripe. They say this was a factory recall. The (clueless) local Buick dealer says no. When I talked to Buick headquarters, they of course had no information on this old of a part or recall. If anyone knows about this (in particular the campaign number) I would appreciate the info. Thanks.

As I remember, there were 2 recalls on the 87 turbo cars. One was for the brake pressure switch and the other was for the computer PROM. While the accumulators were trouble prone, I don't believe they were recalled. Maybe someone else has some info on this subject.

I thought the recall was only for the pressure switch.
