In Chris manual it recommends drilling a .060 hole in the direct drum. What is the purpose of the hole and how will it effect dual feeding. What if I dual feed and don't drilll the hole--what now!!! Thanks.

Drum bleeds off for quicker release on a 3-2 kickdown, also allows air in the drum to purge on apply, and prevents centrifugal apply of the directs on high rpm combos.

It works fine with the dual feed.
