What is it you guys don't like about the manual box?

I'm looking to put one in my 455 Regal. It just has too much power steering!

I ran a manual box in my 72 GS and thought it was fine even in the heavier car.

Is the S-10 box just not a good ratio or something that makes it worse than an older manual steering car?

It's the ratio in the S-10 box I don't care for. The effort to turn isn't bad.

My combo is in my signature, run it almost every weekend during the summer months. Only regrets are that i didn't go with a steele crank and rods.
