87 t is stumbling when it is shifting and also just driving along. it occurs at about 2000 rpm and around 35 mph. put a new egr valve and solenoid in but still runs the same , also stumbles when gas pedal is pressed down hard from syop.

Hi,
Could be a bunch of possibilities here. How about a bad TPS? Any popping? Check ignition, from bad wires to crappy plugs to weak coils, and more. Low fuel pressure, crappy injectors, funky Mass air sensor(MAF) and more. Start weeding, get a scanner and fill us in...

Does it go away with the EGR disconnected?

Thanks for the replies.

When we put a fuel gauge on the front rail the pressure showed 100 PSI. We thought the gauge was broken, so we returned it for another. This one also shot up to 100 PSI. We replaced the fuel regulator and continued to have the same readings. We spoked to a mechanic and he said it sounded like a clogged/crimped/bented return line.
