This is the motor that was in my car when I bought it, so my knowledge is limited about what I actually have. But I am a seasoned Drag racer and motor builder of over 30 years.
What I do know about it is it is a very strong runner, way more power than the stock setup I put in the car, my wife is going to be driving this car and the thing flat out scared her to death, this thing was rubber on demand even from a 40 mph roll.
The heads are ported, it has a cam in it specs not know but it was a little lumpy at idle, piston are forged units standard bore. It also has 3 billit main caps in it with ARP hardware throughout. It has been balance, evidance is mallory metal in crank and the balance pads on the rods have been ground. I would suspect that it was put together by a professional shop, all rods and caps are number stamped as well. It used no oil or leaked antifreeze or lost any coolant. Just wanted to take the car back to near stock for reliability and peace of mind knowing the wife would be driving it.
