87-86 Gn

I was just wondering what the differences were (if any)
between the 86 GN and the 87 GN

I am talking performance figures and maybe options or so
because I had my heart set on an 87
but I met a guy today selling an 86


I know s stock 87 does like 0-60 in like 4.9 secs and 1/4 in the 13's
but I was wondering if the 86 was atleast around these figures
or the same

Basically the same car, just a few cosmetic differences. 86 is rarer though.

Same 0-60,,, same drivetrain, Same, Same, Same horsepower and torque no matter what you have read. In fact, it's been argued the '86s are a tad quicker.

I believe the p/s reservoir caps in 86 are right hand thread unlike 87s (?) and have diferent lettering. Does that count?
