Just testing the waters here...wanted some input from the "market"....

Is a 1983 Regal wagon worth $3500?

Its running and in good shape visually considering its age....let me know what you guys think...and if anyone on here would be interested..

I had one ! Put new front and rear bumpers , headlight bezels , no rot , factory faded gm bronze paint , mint coco interior. I put a GN 8.5 stock rear and Trans in it. Was gonna put the GN motor in it . But someone else wanted it ! Was stolen ! That's what I get for dating a girl in Brooklyn !
Got any pics ?

Soldier_GN was the Regal from the B body line? Or maybe the G body? I remember (probably faulty) the smaller RWD as being Malibu/Century Wagon etc. It would be nice to have a Buick dealer brochure to look over.

This is off the track but some guys liked the small wagons and country boy pick ups for Turbo Buick V6 swaps.

Odo says about 12k on it....im assuming it rolled iver at 100k....so more than lilely it has 112k on it...

Under the hood it has a 350. Need weather stripping redone as well as the upolstary in the interior and 2 41 gears in the rear...all i know on it guys..

Being a Southwest car, it probably has very little or no rust. That could be a great project car for somebody. Are you thinking about buying it yourself, Soldier_GN?

Yeah i took possession of it...thoufht i had the budget for it...unfortunately my accoutant (wife) said NO!! So thats why i wanted to see if any members were interested in it

Yeah--I have one of those accountants also. Her favorite word is NO! It is a shame too, cause I have all the parts and pieces to make that into a turbo wagon!

There a several TR guys just up the road from you in Las Cruces. Maybe they might be interested--or maybe they have accountants of their own :unsure:

Didnt know any TB GN guys were up in LC...pass the word...lol

I think maybe GM did a little rebadging (discontinued the Century wagon) on the 80's G body wagons so the Regal wagon happened. It's the right one for a swap. Google "83 Regal wagon" - there are some pics with a near perfect GN front clip.
Damn cool.

There's a buyer for it! Yea maybe one without an accountant or maybe an old fart like me who doesn't care. :oldman: My boss doesn't pay attention to me anymore, maybe never did.

I like them wagons they make a nice cruiser plus my accountant liked mine after I got through with it , here is a pic of mine
