Looks good Peter. Get rid of the little bolt on plate that goes between the front and rear barrels. It blocks air flow the the secondaries and can lean you out.
 
wow very nice. where did you get the stuff plated?

One of the vendors the company I work for uses, Midwest Plating in Grand rapids, MI, for occasional plating work did the job for me ... They gave me a reasonable quote for the project and then when I picked up the parts, told me "no charge ... just let me see the project when it's complete .. that'll be payment enough" I was a bit shocked! They asked allot of questions about my project, they like cars, and they dug my little Car project diary / blog.

The carb bowl and airhorn were zinc chromated by Cliff Ruggles of Cliffs High Performance in Ohio ... Great guy and great to talk to and work with....listens and answers questions and can talk your ear off...if you need time and advice, he gives it. Cliff also took care of some work on the base plate for me and I also bought the rebuild kit through him. Highly recommended!
