Many of our customers have informed us that they were not happy with the reproduction brands of T-Top weatherstripping currently on the market.

Highway Stars has been working very hard to develop a NEW T-Top weatherstripping
with a leading manufacturer to reproduce this weatherstripping ever since GM discontinued the part.

We hope that our reproduction set is as good or better than the original GM. Unlike some of the aftermarket brands currently on the market, ours indeed have the hard plastic pieces just like the GM ones. See picture.

As of today Jan 21st, 2012, we have heard GOOD NEWS from a customer in Texas, and a customer in Florida regarding the installation of this new T-Top Weatherstripping.

WE HAVE A SPECIAL PROGRAM PRICE: $79.95* (Please read below)

We are looking for 10 more customers to purchase this weatherstripping and install it on a vehicle. (Since we may expect to receive more than 10 responses, we will accept them in the order of which they were received)

Just saw this interesting thread....

If these are the T Top seals that Fairchild Industries in Illinois has been working on, it was our company that first supplied them with a set of original GM ones. They came to us because they knew we had the most knowledge on these cars based on the fact I had written two books on them. We had had several samples from them and forwarded them to Richard Clark so his mechanic could trial fit them similar to what process we use from time to time with other projects. Seals unless its a basic trunk seal take time to check and recheck for fit. We then told Fairchild of where they could get hold of a T Top car courtsey of World Of Motorworks so they could trial fit them as well. This enabled them to see first hand some of the fit issues for themselves.

Competition is healthy and it is the American Way...however, its important to realize that many companies have access to the same suppliers and if the game plan is to remain in business and profitable you need to work on certain profit margins.

The suggested retail price on them is around $130 a set for the Fairchild sets. There is probably at least 3 or 4 other suppliers who produce T Top seals similar to the bumper fillers. Unlike powermaster brake bowls that only come from one source Cardone Industries. This was an example of a product that our company was instrumental in providing information to Cardone to go ahead with the project. The results many of you see today as Cardone Industries can continue to rebuild powermaster brake units.

For the most part as many of you reading this realizes most of the companies that cater to the Turbo Buicks sell to each other as many of you have your favorite supplier. We have done this for over 30 years beginning with the GTO market.

Now someone just needs to get soffseal to address the small problems with their hardtop kit and door kits and the seal concerns will finally be over and done with. I am not dissatisfied with them, just small issues that weren't quite right
