Putting a 700r4 behind a Buick 350 with a Quadrajet that has no tranny kickdown linkage on the throttle arm, as most all the Buick's had the tranny cable going to the accelerator pedal inside the car...

Need to know how to connect the 700r4 TV cable somehow...Is there some kind of kit for the Quadrajet to connect the cable and if so, where do I get it at??? Part #'s would be appreciated...I know there has to be an way to do this...Also need the TV cable bracket as well...

By the way, the motor and tranny are going into an 86 Toyota 4x4 pickup...

Thanks for any info anyone can give...

WOW!!! A lot of info on that first link...

Thanks!!!

Will look into those options...

Anyone else have any other input??? Never can have too much info about this kind of stuff...

You might be able to find a throttle plate of the proper type to
fit your carb's bowl, or you could modify the throttle lever. I would
get a new TV cable such as one for a Monte CarloSS GM # 25507456? and let its lenght dictate where the TV cable bracket should be. At WOT the TV plunger should be flush with the TV bushing as shown in www.tvmadeez.com's TV System 101. Feel free to start a new thread on this topic if you run into trouble. :)
