Could that be done with an 86/87 turbo buick V6 motor? If so, what kind of modifications would be needed to get the job done?

ps. hello to everyone. I'm new here as you can see by the name :)

oh sure, it can be done....build a car capable of 6-700 hp with good fuel and it should produce 400 with bad gas and low boost(implies 110 mph or so in the 1/4)

My old 85 setup turned 112-113mph in the 1/4 at 17psi on 91 octane gas. That is over 400 HP I belive.

It had a TA-54 with .85 housing, modified stock IC, 55# injectors, stock heads, 3500 stall 9" non-lockup, etc. Enough parts to run high 10's at full tilt. In vegas it ran 117mph at 21psi. Everyone from around here was running 3-4mph off their normal mph.

i'm working on getting the bugs worked out of the new setup but it went 92mph in the 1/8 at 17psi already.
