Brand New in the box Custom made JE Forged pistons with matching pins and Moly rings for a 4.1 block with a 4" bore. They are made to work with stock length rods.. $600.00 plus shipping ..

The compression Ratio was going to be around 8:5 to 9:1



I have a 4.1 block also but I oiled it up bagged it and put it in storage. I don't feel like degreasing it just for pics lol.. its the '291' block. It's the one beefier in the deck area :)

That is a huge amount of piston dish. Are you sure its 8.5:1 to 9.0:1?

The specs I listed on the pistons and rings are what is listed JE on the boxes. As far as the compression ratio I was shooting for 9:1 myself. I'm no engine builder but I know alot of things can change your compression when biuding a motor.

With a 9.535" deck height,4.020" diameter .060" thick head gaskets,5.970" long connecting rods,24.5 cc piston dish,and 46 cc combustion chambers,these pistons will have a static compression ratio of 9.02 to 1.

I'm unclear on the c.r.? Is the dish -24.5 or -.245??? It makes a big difference in the static c.r.
