3rd gear pressure switch in Extreme Automatics BRC Valve Body?

Anybody know if Lonnie's BRC Valve Body incorporates a 3rd gear pressure switch?

Reason I'm asking is that my powerlogger shows that I'm in 3rd gear when I'm actually in 1st & 2nd. So I'm not getting proper timing or fueling for 1-2.

4th gear is operating correctly . I was hoping to replace the 3rd gear pressure switch figuring that it's stuck, but not so sure after doing some research on my EA stage II tranny.

I've read that only the BRF valve body uses a 3rd gear switch & have yet to drain the trans fluid & pull the pan to inspect.

I've left a message on Lonnie's site, but haven't heard back from him.

Can anyone shed some light on this .

My extreme stage II has 3 and 4th gear switches. Yours sounds like it is grounded or faulty. Unplug the connection on the side of transmission and see if the 3rd gear flag turns off in PL.

Will do as soon as I get the car back. Dropped it off today to have my tubular control arms installed. Should have it back in a day or two.
Still haven't heard back from Lonnie yet.
