Have been running the 275/60/15 size on stock GN wheels for some time now, and have managed 60 foots in the mid 1.5s at the track. Wondering at what point a person would really need to go wider to get the most out of this size tire, as far as 60 ft is concerned? I see recommended rim sizes are from 7.5 to 9.5 inches, has anyone used a 10 inch rim with this size tire at the track with good results?

if you went to an 8'' rim it will leave a slightly larger footprint of tread at the track. I have seen cars with the 10'' rim, some had better results-some were of the same.
