275/40/17 Drag Radial

I have installed new springs, shocks, and 17 X 9.5 rims on my car. I will be adding new upper and lower control arms. My set up is not for the drag strip as car is lowered in the front and a big front sway bar. I will be adding a 3200 Stall 9". Hp and torque wont be an issue. What kind of 60 ft can I expect with the above tire? Do you guys have any tips on getting down the dragstrip with this tire other than getting new rims and tires?

A freind had a set on his T. There did not seem to be enough sidewall to flex to get a good launch. The car had to be launched similar to with the street tires. I put my MT 26x10.5 slicks on the car and launched with 12 PSI no problem. I am glad he bought them before I did to try on my GN with 17" wheels. I would get some real slicks for serious racing.
