Tire sizes are killing me! Is there are difference for an everyday driver to run 235/60/15's all around compared to 235/60/15 rear and 215/65/15 front???? Track difference???? (Stock GN rims of course!!)

It depends. ;)

Ease of mounting, rotating, purchasing, etc. get all 4 the same tire. :)

However the 235/60/15 tires are rare now and not many good ones left. :frown:

Most brand of 235/60/15 will rub the plastic inner fenderwells on lock to lock turns, parking lot stuff, no biggy for me.

I'd like them on all 4 wheels but now I run Nittos out back in even a larger size on aftermarket rims 7" front 8" back for traction.

In the winter I use all (4) 215/65/15 snow tires and it helps with winter traction but I like the 235/60's up front for 3 season handling.

Depends on how you drive and use the car and what you want for tires.

I like the 235 / 60's all around for daily driving. 225 /60's work good also, are easier to find & were the Original size used on the Connecticut State police GN's & T's.

Thank you so much for the input salvageV6 & UNDER-PRESSURE! :)

I was under the impression the 235/60/15's would never rub in the front no matter what brand tire it is. 245's I know for sure rub like crazy!!

I am in Florida so I don’t plan to drive up north in the snow. I wanted to make it easier for the track also by just throwing on a set of rims and slicks for the rear and not touching the fronts…That’s why I was contemplating having the stock tires (215-65-15) on the front but if 235/60/15’s on the front won’t slow me down at the track being a wider tire than I will get all (4) 235/60’s…. What are your experiences???

I run 235/60's right now on 1 of my car's & 225/60's on the other. When i hit the track i use 255/60 M/T drag radials. Both cars handle & ride nice & are very stable when racing with the larger drag radials.
