200r4 Billet Aluminum direct piston - no checkball ?

Started my build and my piston that I need to use has no checkball. Any concerns? I used one a while ago in my other trans and it had the checkball. Just asking as this trans is going together this weekend.

I install the checkball in the direct piston on a conventional build. If I dual feed the directs, I do not use the checkball and will install the direct piston as is...

I have never seen a stock DIRECT piston without a check valve. Our new deign billet aluminum direct piston does not use the check valve.

Thanks all. Its not a stock one. It was a billet one. Got it installed. Now need some .100 steels to tighen it up.
