we had a great time! thanks to lawrence for puting this together every year. Len

Nice to see the Category 6 car making some good passes. Every time I saw it at events around Texas, things didnt turn out so well.

And SuperDog.. lol.. there's a blast from the past.

Good Job Guys!!

What a weekend it was dude. had to thrash all day friday to make the event on sat.

broke 3 valve spring retainers and must have hurt one of the valves. Car lost 2.5 tenths from the qualifing run. car went to poping on the last round.

bob cut a .03 light in the semi's and a .05 light in the final round.

was hoping to get a good hole shot on the freeman car to try and hold him off but the car was hurt.

anyhow it was a great time meeting all you guys there.

Wow it is nice to see some of the original players still out having fun.
It does my heart well to see Bob out there playing with the likes of LC.
And last but not least I have to thank Len's shirt for bringing sexy back.

really john. what part turned you on the most? the oil stains? i was trying to hide behind the door!

Nice seeing Bob Peterson running his car, i'm very glad I've seen his car run and talked to him for a while at the Buick Vs Ford in Noble, OK.

Along with Eric Ruge, his car very nice, its great seeing a Special run down the track! Instead of an other regal...

It was great to see Bobby there and for me it was a treat to actually work on his car a bit. He missed last year due to needing surgery again so it was nice to see him bounce back and get back out there so quickly.

Not to shabby for a 70 year old! I can only hope to be doing this when I am that age.

Oh yeah, here are the pics I took for Lawrence before he got his camera.

Not all the drivers were there so thats why I dont have them all. And I posted Lens picture above so I will leave it out of here.

It was a good time, hopefully the fastest guys come back if only to run in the shoot out!

Ya, and having no tounge from surgery too. It's just ridiculous to think somebody who's in their 70's to go that fast....

Love seeing them photos! I wonder how it feels to go that fast...to only hope I feel the same feeling they do.

My laptop and DV cam have been in the 8's. Thats all I have that has gone that fast. ;)

Thanks for posting the pictures Whut!

Len I read on another thread that you ran in the 7.20's?!!!! I figured you had put some skinny guy in the car for that

Here's to you for staying "healthy" and just adding more power to go fast!
