To me the builds don't cost anymore than dropping a car off for a rebuild at any local place. Guys bitch about dropping a few thousand in a trans but will not have a problem spending money on aftermarket heads. To me 2 k is nothing for knowing you will have a good reliable piec e that will probably outlast the engine

Well, I have about $250 or so in my build. It is a budget deal done by me in my garage. It includes the purchase of a low/rev tool, clutches, some springs, a gasket/rubber/paper kit, a sonnax servo and a tta valve body I got used. I'd love to be doing a billet shaft forward, and a brf vb/governor, and dual feed it but my budget just won't stretch that far.
I tried the get it built route when I had the money and that didn't work so I figure I can try it multiple times if that's what it takes.
