I would like to start by saying thanks to the staff at PTS.
To those who I spoke to there: Amy,Mark and Bruce, hats
of to ya!!

Now, my MCSS's tranny was slippin bad at 147,000 miles and
I new somthin needed to be done. A couple of phone calls
to PTS, and I had awsome tranny parts to my door.
I orderd thier front pump assembly with the EXtreme stuff in it,
direct drum assembly with "blue" cluthes, wide int. band, anchor
pin, billit servo, 3rd clutch OD kit, Bruce's "shift kit", teflon rings,
low/rev piston housing with roller bearing. Everything else I needed was in a rebuild kit I purchased at a local auto parts store. After a 1 weeks worth of nights after work building this thing, I installed it sat. night and went for a test drive.

THIS THING ROCKS!!!!!!

I have never built a tranny that shifts this hard! I've built trannys
before and installed shift improvers and trans paks (which I happen to like very much) before, But this 200-4r kicks serious butt.

After spending sunday afternoon driving it around, I found out several things.

1. T.V. adjustment very sensitive, I have it set 3 clicks back from
max. This provided the best shift timing and tire pealing. hehe

2. Moderate throttle provides sidways action everytime, full throttle provides frame twisting fun only second to that of the
PYTHON roller coaster at BUSH GARDENS.

3. Every shift feels exactly the same :)

4. I have a small leak from the output yoke, BUMMER!

5. I have a slight "clunck" into 2nd rolling to a stop.

Now for a couple of questions.

Is driving a car with a transmission that shifts like this going to
hurt the tranny? I have a mild 350 in it now, but have a more potant 355 in the works right now slated for installment in a few
weeks. Should I do somthing more "tranny friendly" to help longevity for daily driving? I can put up with the neck snaps, (happly I might add) but can the transmission?

Next is the 200-4r in the 86 'Regal! And that one is behind a BIG BLOCK BUICK!

The clunck you get when slowing into second comes with the servo and the great apply pressure you get from it. I dont believe this is much you can do but get used to it, Of all the trannies ive done once you install a billet servo it will do that
