This car looks great. But I have a couple of questions about the mods. Why is there a 4,000 stall for a GT61? I thought 3200 was all that was needed for a 61???? A 4,000 stall seems better suited for a 70GTQ or bigger. Also, what hard parts are in the "heavily modified" transmission? Any billet parts? T-Brake? Who built the trans? What does the car 60'?

Thanks

Sleepy

I could not agree with you more in regards to the 4000 stall vs. GT61.
I don't know why???????? This car is the least modified GN I have ever
owned but, has the highest stall I have ever experienced with a internally
stock engine. The car operates in the 162-170 temp range, trans temp
never exceeds 175-180.
The only converters I'm familiar with are the 3200 stall, multi-disc vigilantes.
I will be honest, the difference in stall really isn't that noticable to me.
As for hard parts in the trans.I have a receipt from ANS Performance
for the mods done to the trans including converter totaling $1,800.
Refers transmission rebuild as "Competition Rebuild" and some other
scribble I can't quite make out.
Hope that helped answer your questions. :)

Thanks, Dave
