General:
For sale is a 1987 Buick Limited white exterior with blue bench seat/column shift. The body has about 150k miles on it, the motor was taken down to the short block about four years/30k miles ago and many of the smaller items were cleaned and or replaced. All of the seals were replaced including the head gaskets and put back together. The entire short block is still stock the cam was within stock specifications and lifters did not have major wear. Transmission was rebuilt by Len Freeman at the same time (4 years ago) and also has about 30k miles on it. The car has a lot of positives but needs some TLC to bring it completely back to life.

Additions:
Car has a 2800 stall L/U anti-balloon converter, 36# injectors, Razor’s alky kit, Adj fuel pressure regulator, adjustable wastegate, TT chip, Walbro pump and hotwire kit, I’m sure there is more I will add as I think of it.

Body:
The body does have some extremely light surface rust on the hood and on the roof; it has been a California car for at least the majority of its life so it is nothing significant. There is a small dent in the driver’s side door, even smaller dent on the driver’s side door, and many extremely small dents on the hood. The pain is original and needs to be redone; it doesn’t look bad from 15-20 feet away but up close definitely shows it’s age. Rims are decent have some marks but nothing terrible but two of the center caps are missing. Lastly, the bumper fillers need to be replaced the front ones are starting to fall off the car and the rear ones are cracking.

Interior:
Overall the interior is in decent shape it does have a few small rips and tears here and there but overall in is not bad. The tint of the driver’s side window is starting to peel and will either need to be taken off or replaced.

Mechanical issues:
The power brakes have recently gone out, again, so the car does not have power brakes. The car sags a little bit in the rear and could probably use new springs and shocks. Car died not too long ago and after jump-starting it the roof light and clock have stopped working. Exhaust has leaks and needs to be replaced; alky system has not been used in about a year but did work last time I ran alky through it.

Let me know if there are any other questions, the car is located in north Orange County California. Feel free to message me on the boards or call/text me at 714-943-5912 my name is Brian. I would prefer to sell this locally so I’m putting it in the southwestern area only for now. Asking $6,500 obo

pics can be found here I'll put up some interior and trunk pics in the next day or so (comp is acting up big time) http://s1291.photobucket.com/user/bgn8711/library/1987 turbo buick limited

Hey, that Limited sounds very familiar to me for some reason. That was a very good car.
I do like my current whips a tad more though.

Neal what do you think? This is Mack, from the original "Brutal 6" ready to get back in the game....

Mack,

I knew it was you, good to hear from you again. Are you thinking about buying Brian's car? It's got a lot of potential, I know he'd like to see it go to a good home. It would be ccol to keep it in the Brutal 6 family. :)

How's it going? yeah, thinking about his car......Really looking for a good stock platform!!

That was my DD for a few years, it was a great car.
I would love to see Mack get it and keep it in good
hands, especially within the original Brutal6 clan.

I have seen this car and its worth every bit of what Ralph is asking . A good start for some one especially on a budget.

I was under the impression a "Limited" was basically a TR with a Caddy interior appointed with a living room couch bucket seat set up/center console interior at a minimum.

In addition there is a "Limited" badge on the dash and beyond that, options were pretty much unlimited by the factory from there on.

"Bench seat not included." may have been a disclaimer for the "Limited" but I could be wrong, and it wouldn't be the first time........;)

I have a pretty basic, butcher paper white, blue blue bench seat, column shifter, crank window, very rare, mid/low 10 second Turbo Regal .

I guess my question to the experts would be "Should I call my TR a "Limited?" and ask the appropriate money as such if I decide to sell her?

Please don't get me wrong, your car is unique and has many nice upgrades, and though your car and mine are vastly different performance wise, I have never, ever, even considered mine to be, or represent her as a"Limited".

I'm thinking a bench seater, like yours, with a column is even MORE rare, but then again, I could be wrong......

GLWS!

Limiteds with cloth interior have a 60 / 40 bench seat with center arm rest. Limiteds with leather have the center console. They have a different VIN # from a regular Regal too. I did some work in Brian's car a few years back and I can vouch for the fact that it is indeed a Limited.

I'm no expert ! but Brian's buick is a limited for sure 1 of 1035...
Limiteds have a M in the vin# I think from left to right it's the 5 th or 6 th letter or number..
Guys buick is a fast a$$ turbo regal ttype with a bench seat also awesome love them coulum shifters!!

Don't kill me guys I'm no expert....

Light up display on glove box.
Metal / plastic surround on the door sides.
Has the polished stainless steel on doors &
at the lower section of car running full length.
Leather seat arrangement had a higher center
console.

Guys car was the one people mocked and no one wanted. Guy had a vision that turned out to be one of the neatest TR's on the planet !

ttt I need to unload this thing so taking $1,000 off the starting price, now asking $5,500. I would love to see this car go to a good home and get the love that it needs. Uploading some interior pics as we speak to the photobucket link so check it out. Thanks!
