1986 T-Type question

The prime tool is easy, just get a 18 inch 3/8 wood drill bit and grind the point down. The real trick is to loosen the oil filter so it has some air pressure relief to let the oil pump actually do something to get the oil up from the pan (put a pan under it, it'll make a mess, but it is the easiest way to have something to engage the prime, or remove oil cooler line and drop oil in to fill it before spinning the oil pump).
 
Thanks for the information guys really appreciate it. I am merely wanting some information on how to ensure the engine is not shot. I am on my way to look at the car now. I will be turning over the engine by hand as a start.
