1986/87 GN parts interchange?

Are the 1986 GNs same as the 1987 where parts are concerned. Most interested if the engine harness and engine, rear, trans, computer, interior, are interchangable. Thank Scott

interchangeable yes but there are some differences
86 engine harness does differ slightly from the 87 in the ecm connector retainer 86 had a metal retainer vs 87 had blue plastic lever type retainer
computers are the same 1227148 but prom chip for 86 stock was CMW and 87 stock was ACXA later recalled and replaced with BBKJ

trans identical BRF except differs by the label color , voilet 86 vs yellow 87
interior the same except for the door handles , black on 86 vs gray on 87
86 power seat motor/trans and switch design was different from 87 , 86 power seat had three motors vs 87 one (or vice verse) but seats will interchange

rears are same 8.5 3.42 except for coding stamped on axle tube ,
injector harness interchanges but they differ from 86 to 87 , 86 had rubber covered injector harness connector ends , the 87 had no rubber covering the wires going into injector connector
