Here is a very unique rig. Its a custom built, fully enclosed car hauler based on a GM/Chevy Silverado truck chassis. I was told by the previous owner that this rig was a one-off, custom built by GM for one off their race teams. The overall length is about 35'. The rig is a crew cab, has a 427 big block for power and an automatic transmission. The area directly behind the rear seat features a small sleeper compartment with a new mattress and a window for ventilation. Just the thing for a quick nap on the road or at the track. The box portion of the rig is fully enclosed and has a ton of nice features to make transport of your race car, toy hauling, barn find recoveries or just moving cars easy and convenient. The interior is obviously a custom construction as it features wood paneling, sturdy and professionally built car ramps(with a crawl space underneath) and really nice(and long) ramps for loading vehicles. These ramps are fully contained within the back portion of the rig and make loading a car very easy.
This hauler is also equipped with a very nice winch-perfect for loading project cars and non runners. There are plenty of tie down points to secure your vehicle. Also included are a sturdy set of steel wheel chocks. The rear of the box features a stout roll up style door with a very secure and lockable, "big rig" latch. There is also a 2' receiver in the rear bumper. There are also access/storage doors along the sides of the chassis and a aero bubble on the forward facing surface of the box.

The interior of the box also has a nice workbench and cabinent storage areas-very handy for track days. The rig also features a high quality Kohler 4500 generator to recharge the multiple batteries and provide power when needed. There are also speakers in the box for music and a nice pair of external flood lights to make loading at night easy. There are also running boards and additional gauges fitted.

The tow rig is finished in white with custom hand painted flames and pinstriping. The paint is in nice condition and shines up nicely. The truck is also equipped with an expensive set of allloy dually "big rig Alcoa" style wheels. It really is a sharp looking rig going down the road.

We have recently installed a new battery, new mufflers, plugs, wires, cap, etc. All the tires are in excellent condition. Our intention was to use the rig for vintage racing, but a change in plans and a need to downsize our storage facility have led to the sale of this one of a kind rig. We drove the rig from Oregon to Southern California with out issue and its currently running fine. Its only been driven by us a couple of times and the miles are pretty low. The prior owner said the engine had been rebuilt, but I have no proof of this. It has dual tanks, an upgraded stereo, etc. The interior is in decent condition(as pictured).

This really is a fully custom, unique rig that would be ideal for a number of uses. We'd planned to install a gear Vendors overdrive to help with fuel economy and upgrade the interior-perfect for track days. I've never seen another rig like this and it must have cost a fortune to custom build. Currently has Oregon plates and clear title. Unsure of smog legality in California areas that check smog.
Give away price of 4800.
