I was wondering if it is possible to eliminate the field service mode or 10k resistor mode that the tech 1 and OTC scanner puts the vehicle in when you are scanning it? Whenever I hook up my tech 1 to the car, it ups the idle and puts it in a 10 k resistor mode and raises the idle from 800 RPM to 12-1300 rpm. Can I wire a resistor in series to bypass it or what? Any help, ideas, or suggestions are appreciated.
