Anybody on here a GM parts guys. Can you tell me if there is a difference in 1999 with the struts used on the Cavaliers? I see some places advertising 1995-1999 struts and also 1999-2005 struts. Then some places have 1995-2005 struts? What the heck is the difference? Its just my back and forth...

I was looking closer at the pics and looks like someone put a LT1 MAF on it? New wires and alternator....probably took the gauges out of it too. Otherwise the motor looks the same. That V2 intake was sick as hell...really woke that car up. The rear is a peg leg too. It started turning both tires...

Its too bad about the 24's......cool to see it got painted though.

Sure looks like my car....especially the motor. So, someone ended up getting it and repainting hey? At least its getting some attention. Wonder if he got the tranny rebuilt or maybe someone between me and impound lot it got taken care of.....what a joke. Thanks for sharing! :cool:

I would hope they would wait until the car doesn't get picked up and they find out who the rightful owner is. Like I said this is more trouble then its worth right now....I got too much other crap to worry about.

I'm sending a letter today stating my situation. So, maybe they will contact me saying I can get it if I like or at least when the auction is. Otherwise I'm leaving the situation alone. I don't need any trouble right now. :)

I would put her back on the road. But, with my limited funds right now(works been cutting hours for months) I'm sure I won't be able to afford the impound fees.

I will call the police station(narcotics impound lot) on Monday as they were closed on Friday when I got the letter. Thats the one number I got off a lady on the phone that I could get through. Ask them about the car. Maybe I will just be straight out honest with them and see what they say...

I'm just planning on mailing the letter out Monday that say I sold the car and I'm no longer the owner. Washing my hands of it so to say. I can't afford to spring it out anyways.......got other priorities to take care of first......3 kids. :biggrin:

No money is owed on the car in my name or his. Its in my name still for whatever reason he never titled it, but somehow got in trouble in the car. I tried looking for the guys phone number and email, but can't find it. He lives in IL.......so I have no idea what area he is from or anything...

I need an attorney or some legal advice.....anyone?

Legally it seems that I'm still the owner..........according to the WI DMV website the title is still in my name. Weird........I WANT IT BACK SOOO BAD. :(

The lady on the phone said I can't even though they don't know its not really mine???????? Don't have a trailer or cash, so I don't have a GN....I only got like 15 days...then who knows if there is any other repercussions to claiming the car as it was a drug related impound.....:confused:

Ok, so I call the IL Traffic Services place and they say well if you sold it you can't pick it up. But, I say if I can produce a WI title with my name on it then how can they stop me? Why would they stop me they would get the money that owed and I would get my car with my clear title in hand. ;)...

OK, I get a letter in the mail saying my 1985 Buick GN is in the impound. So, I'm like WHAT? I haven't owned that car in almost 3 years. But, then I check the WI DMV website and it say my title is still in my name? I call the IL phone number for the pound or whatever and sure enough its sitting...
