I tore down my stock motor which I thought was unopened due to a head gasket failure. Well it's not unopened, timing set has been changed and I found 3 what look like hot-air pistons with the 3 notches forward and the other 3 pistons just have a sort of "punch" mark on the top of the piston...

Bought a rebuilt 4.1 from a board member and decided to open it and take a look. I found these metal chunks mostly concentrated around #2 main cap and under the 2 front pistons. I put an adjustable WG on and the boost will only rise to 19psi. Im running a Thrasher 100 with K\N and Hooker with no cat. Have walbro 340 with afpr. with the stock WG it would run up to 17psi and settle back down to 16. With the adjustable I was able to turn it up to go 19psi with it dropping...

I bought a GN that appears to be all stock. Put a gauge on the fuel rail and I have 43# fuel pressure with vacuum line off. It does have a stock regulator and is is safe to assume it has the stock pump? Dont want to pull the tank if I dont have to. Thanks
