I apply the brake, I can floor this thing and it only registers around 2700 on the turbo link! Slight black smoke out of tailpipe. Runs awful on the road. If I ease into it... it runs ok. No malfunctions on the turbo link... coil pack maybe?

Not exactly technical, but I want to say thanks for all the info, technical help and tips. I cannot add up all the years of experience, but I bet it is a few thousand years of technical knowledge. Anyway, I am up and running. Now its time for some simple repairs and tuning! "GO NAVY!"

Got the GN out of storage after coming off a six month deployment. Initially, I drove it into storage. Car ran ok. Car sat for almost a year. Tried to crank it and drive it home. No start! No fuel pressure at rail. Pulled tank. Nice and rusty. Replaced tank, new fuel pump, pulsator...

Anyone out there have any pics or advice on how to hook up the grey/white wires on the Trans +? For now, this will be an underhood hook-up. Asking questions like this makes it hard to believe I drove this thing off the showroom floor! Thanks, J "GO NAVY!"

Attempted to pick up the high school grad present (1987 GN) from storage after returning from a deployment. NO START! Cranks over and all that good stuff. Depressed scrader (spelling) on rail. Nothing! Fuel pump? Disconnected fuel line to inlet to regulator... nothing! All fuses are good...
