I still have this, unknown miles, but feels and looks good.

I am an hour east of Cleveland, Ohio. It is a Turbonetics TA49 turbo with a 3" inlet bell, polished Garrett compressor housing, and Turbonetics Cheetah .63 A/R housing. Unknown miles but bearings feel good.

No intercooler, just made it clocked to fit the original spot with an adapter I made to straighten up the throttle body. I have 2 alcohol jets that are tapped into the intake right under the turbo shooting down both plenums to help cool the hot air charge though.

Wow, this place has become slow, not much mention of upgraded turbos for our hot air blocks I see. Any rate, I have or had a reclocked TA-60 that decided to have the compressor wheel kiss the housing, which destroyed the compressor wheel. This will be a costly repair so I am contimplating...

Well I figured it out after staring at these seals for a while,,, they actually have small part numbers molded into the actual lip seal. I could take that number and cross reference it to this sheet. Can find more part numbers for the 2004r here. http://www.jpat.co.uk/04%20GM2%20200%20200C.pdf

Got the trans ripped down again, good call guys on the forward clutch pack. You know how the ATSG book hounds you on be sure to use the right lip seals on the forward and directs and don't mix up the fourth clutch, well..... the piston felt really loose coming out this go around. Much looser...

Low range (gear selector in 1 or 2) don't help going forward

Unfortunately no, low doesn't change anything. It does however seem to work good in all forward gears with the rear tires off the ground.
