I think I got it, I pulled the cluster out some, I found a 25a fuse behind the right side idiot lights, it’s the only one I saw but pulled it. Sound right?

Quick thought, couldn’t I just clip and cap a wire on the door lock mechanism? Seems like that would work similarly if the security never gets the signal from the lock.

That look like it’d likely be behind where the security light is on my dash (I have digi dash). Behind right side of cluster. Probably a good time to also replace the speed sensor for the digi dash as well, I think it’s there somewhere too

Do you know where this fuse is exactly? Do I remove the dash bezel, or reach under the dash or behind the radio? There’s a lot under there and I can’t seem to make sense of it. Maybe wire color and fuse location?!

2 wires on the lock and 2 on the retailer clip

I’m swapping locks out on my 86 GN, it has door locks that have wires running to them for the security system. The new locks I purchased do not have a place for those wires. I’ve never really liked this feature anyway so it says something I can just leave unplugged or is just gonna cause me issues.

I am losing oil out this fitting and it is tight. Is there a grommet, gasket or fitting inside that wears out?

This was a place in Carrollton I saw here that came recommended (actually FB group for here).

He has not refused to give it back…. He’s been fine. I don’t know who to blame, but if the car runs like new or better I’ll be satisfied. I just need to know who to take it to next time. The last recommendation wanted $40k for his stage 1 package. Ummmm no.

I can make more money, I just want my car. This is the exact GN I got to drive in 1988… I waited all this time to get it and just did recently….for me this car means more than I can really say. I just want it home safe. Lesson learned for sure.
