    trans won't shift.....???

    Beating on a new motor...........

    Fel-Pro Head gaskets

    I'm about to slap together my motor and have a choice of two types of head gasket. One is the Fel-Pro 9441, the other is the Fel-Pro 8723. The 8723 looks like a huge improvement over the 9441..........which one should I use???

    Letters on stock rods????????

    I noticed the letters A- through -F on each stock rod, right beside the rod bolt. What do they mean..........pistons 1- through -6????? Or something else????

    Actual jet size???????

    Does anyone actually know how big their alcohol nozzels in use are? The SMC kits, as far as I'm aware, number their nozzels like #7 or #14.............which doesn't seem to mean much. How big is it really? .025....... .028...... .030 and at what pressure? Is it an oil furnace jet, or NOS jet...

    Best cam for 80% Street, 20% track?

    Any suggestions.......my engine is out time for a new cam. I want something that rocks with your boot in it.......but still idles nice, and produces vacuum at idle for my brakes. Thanks, Randy.

    Just blew my engine.........

    I think my engine is toast. At idle it's quiet, but rev it slightly and it makes a loud metallic clacking sound deep inside the block. What could it be? Do I need to tear the whole engine down to fix it?
