i have an 84 ttype with the stock MAF I don't hear any turbo spool. Vehicle drives but stalls out when I take the MAF off the vehicle runs and idle fine. I have an 87 MAF and an 87 ECM but the ECM came with a street chip which my stock 84 doesn't have the proper injectors for. What can I do ?

Took my 84 ttype out for a spin today. Car started to sputter then it stalled. I got it home took the stock MAF off and replaced it with the 87 MAF. Do I need to put the 87 ECM in as well? I don't have an chip at the moment for the ECM will this be a problem ? Once I put the 87 MAF now I can...

Have an 84 t-type that I bought two months ago. Previous owner didn't take care of it so trying to get it right. Car idles fine when i shift into gear it feels like it's going to stall but doesn't. I can take off and drive it but when I slow down/stop the car stalls out. I can turn it right back...

When at idle the car is fine. When I Shift into gear feel like it's going to stall but doesn't. Drives fine but when I press the brake to slow down it stalls. Turn the key starts back up perfectly fine. What can the issue be?
