what happens if I use just regular 10w-40 oil without any kind of addiditives in my stock 87 GN with 90k miles?

yea i googled it and not much comes up Ive already ordered a turbo tweak chip already

well today i opened the ECu to see what chip was in there and this is what i found anyone know if thats a good chip or is the reason why the car is not running 100% like it should idle surges sometimes, a little rough idle, and hesitation slightly on accelartion.

Im not sure how to tell what my vacuum reading is. Today the car passed the strict CA smog not sure if that gives you any signs on how things are running

yeah any starting is horrible its almost like your truly forcing the car the car to start up.

you think the exhaust leak coming out the manifold could affect the idle???

does any of this sound like possible the fuel pressure regulator could be bad?

the car does have a little exhaust leak at the bottom of the exhaust manifold where there is a crack not sure if this has anything at all to do with it

Do you guys suggest also replacing the egr valve also?? And I plan to keep this car stock no crazy 10-11 sec race car I just want a nice running dependable driver GN

with the turbo tweak chip do i have to change anything else on the car besides the chip? Can i leave everything else stock?

Now yesterday i turned it on cold start and the idle went high and wouldnt drop back down it was stuck at like 2-3k RPM until i turned the car off and back on when the idle went back to normal. Are these an other indications of what might be wrong. And im also looking into the chip but not sure...
