I was told by a mechanic doing my vehicle inspection that the air hose coming from the Carb is aftermarket and not original to my car... can anyone shed some light on that fact... again i am a newbie here, thanks All!

Good advice, thanks... Issues im seeing just driving around close -throttle response has lag during initial acceleration -hitting the throttle hard there seems to be no power just maintains a loud engine strain -no power steering (getting strong.. lol ) -wants to bog down when introducing allot...
