Ive tried to adjust the throttle shift control and it worked for a little bit, but went back to annoying. Yes screaming!

Mine is doing the same thing. I have to let off the gas to get it to shift. It will wind out to about 4500 rpms before gradually shifting into 3rd almost like it is slipping slowly into gear. It only does it in the 2nd to 3rd shift. If I accelerate while it is winding out it goes to straight...

I have an 87 GN 63k. The guy I bought it from had put a 3" down pipe, A Red Armstrong 93 octane chip, a wench style tie down strap connected to the alternator ?, K&N filter and bigger air intake tube. He also supplied me with all the original parts as well. Now here is what the car is doing...

It's a cat back system.. I was checking out my down pipe tonight and it's 3 inches. I'm guessing it was replaced at some point. I'm taking it to a race shop tomorrow for a second opinion.

yeah there are several hangers on the exhaust system.. I wish I knew more about exhaust systems. I got the car fairly cheap, but it seems to be turning into a small money pit.
