check the ignition timing.If for some reason is retard you are blowing unburn fuel thru the headers. Also check the inteke air filter,intercooler maybe is sucking debri from somewhere.

I did an 84-85 convertion from Autozone (booster,hoses,master cylinder).NO wines and good brakes. On the reservoir i drill a hole and put a fitting forthe return line.

I agree with everybody.But one more thing to check is the stator support. If the spline are gone you will have the same situation no boost no rpm.

Ok,I did put the pins on the block.Also the oil pickup extension that comes with the girdle is instaled. I am using stock valve covers with RJC extension.The oil pickup is the stock one and I did check the clerance with the oil pan.

See if the battery negative cable is conected to block. Check the ignition module plug and the module.

any trouble code? fuel presure? what was the last work on the car before tps change?

Are you running stock ecm? Sound like the chip is gone.

Hi, I'm puting the engine back together and i want to fit the TD rockers under the stocks valve covers with the RJC extention. What size pushrods do i need? I'm using roller cam morell lifter with stock irons. Any help. Thank you!

check the ignition module wires.Had a problem like that before.With car at idle ,move up and down back and fowar the module wires and look for any changes.

Hi, I did buy a file to fit piston ring. Can somebody help me with the proper gap? Is a street driven car but visit the track ocasionally. Engine is 40 over with forget pistons. Thanks.
