so if i went to the junk yard and pulled a posi out of a 3rd of 4th gen f body that was a 10 bolt. i could un bolt my factory carrier put that one in with new axles? as long as it was 7.5 10 bolt correct?

getting a 7.5 posi rear end off someone near my house thats all original. came out of a 78 cutlass, now would that stock easton posi be able to handle 3.73's or 4.11's? i wont be drag racing it at all and no i dont have the money for an 8.5.

is there a rear end that bolts right up thats also posi? Also would i have to get different suspension components with a new rear end and how fat of tires would i be up to get underneath it without tubbing it or rolling the quarters or narrowing the rear
