I did the same. back seat and fender to core suppourt with 1/2" EMT. GP bar in the front and 1" square tube brace in the back. I have 5 sets of core support to fender braces i made for sale. not sure if they fit turbo buicks though. :cool:

i dont, but i would imagine a paint remover wheel on a grinder would be best since seam sealer is a pita to get off. then just clean out the best you can and re-seal it. i have a question though, is that strut that holds your trunk open factory? looks pretty clean!
