I did a search on what to replace the rubber strap that attaches the converter to the hanger. I have tried various pieces of rubber and none seem to last long. What are ya'll using to solve this problem? Thanks for the help.

Just got a new Ford Explorer work vehicle (Law Enforcement) which is used in an undercover capacity. It is equipped with DRL which leaves the lights on when ever the car is in drive. Even at night there is no way to just switch the lights to "off" as they just go to DRL setting automatically...

OK, sorry about the peanut butter joke. But the grape jelly one got me going. You can try a product "the right stuff" which is a thick black sealant. You could smear a bead where the plenum sits on the intak at the rear. It might help a little with the leak to test and see if the BLM's come...

Grape jelly? Not cool dude! Everyone knows that peanut butter works better for sealing intake leaks.

That is a really neat set up. What ever happened to the thread about the project to reproduce those out of a more duable material like the piece sold by TRCustom parts for the front mount IC guys. Sorry, don't mean to hijack.

Just an update for those who helped out. I got the ATR pipe installed and all seems well. No leaks after some adjustments and the lead donut. Took it for a spin today and the car feels good through the gears at 20lbs boost. I'll probably sell the Kirban 3"er off. Thanks again!

First the good news! Kirban's adapter harness worked like a charm. The radio works and sound better than the stock one for some strange reason. Now the bad news, the new radio mounting tabs (two little ears on each side with holes) do not line up correctly, and the ears block the applique...

OK, I'll make some more adjustments on it when I can. I'll als try using the donut gasket to seal it up a bit. Thanks again. To be honest, I was hoping it fit a little better than it is so far. At 2.5 inches I don't understand why there would be any issues, but I'll work on it some more.
