the engine in the car now is a chevy 3.8 v6 with the distributor in the back and the a/c compressor on the drivers side...it runs but smokes when the engine is cold and has a very strong odor

well the dist is in the back...the motor runs but smokes alot until it gets warm...the guy also threw in a shortblock motor...its a little rusted but honing will clean it up...can someone tell me what type of block this is i know its a 350...on the back of the motor it says 5.7LG SGI...

well charlie the mechanic found me another car thats similar ...a 84 monte carlo...with a v6...im trying to decide should i carb turbo it, throw on a 4 barrel carb...or pull the motor and go with a v8...also the car is in better condition except for the car needs a bumper and a grill

i did the bad thing about it is the mechanic shop is right on the line. His shop is located in Clinton and on the other side of the road it becomes Jackson. When he reported the car stole they added it to the ncis list or something like that

i know the way he was describing how the car got stole was weird...I know someone couldnt just drive it off because there was a leak in tranny pan and the fluid leaked all out...then he had a video camera around the shop but my car was in a spot out of the eye of the camera....then he keeps...
