    lOST 7#'S boost out of hole

    48/88 turbo on 360 in. ford. ams 1000, 7531 box, classic fast sys. ran 8.40 @joliet, next time out broke a rocker @ the big end (made a pop), repaired the motor, it would not exceed 1.5 lbs. boost @ the line. smoke tested the intake, leaked the motor, did compression test, checked ams1000...

    tires spin @600'?

    on leaving the line, fronts come up 4". when they EASE back down and put load back on the nose, does the rear axel unload enough to spin the rears?

    stall droped from 4600 to 2800?

    we lost 2000 rpm on stall, checked valves, leaked motor, checked w.g., checked vanes on hot side of turbo, 31 box, big stuff logs. a/f is @ 12.8--13.0, t.b. is opening, plugs are good, no exhaust leaks are evident. need some help trouble shooting. anybody? bob coffman

    Manual Brakes--which Master Cyl?

    power master will not fit with big block headers. we have no power steering. budget won't permit super manuel brake sys. what size master cylinder will stop the car with existing brake system. do we NEED to change proportioning valve or will stronger leg be sufficient? this will be a 9.0 car.
