i was trying to leave the scanmaster under the radio..You guys have me thinking that I need to move it by my triple pillar setup..That I installed this weekend...
I forgot to mention I used double stick tape also.I held for a few months..We have a temperture swing sometimes of 30-40 degrees in a few days...Gravity and temperature are the problems...I can't get anything to stick to the vinyl...Todd
I have the scanmaster located under the radio, and above the tray console.I have tried silicone and hot wax. Both have lasted for a few days, before letting loose.I have cleaned the vinyl with alcohol..Any suggestions/comments. Todd
I found the problem..Read some old post about checking ecm wiring,etc..I rerouted the red ecm wire by the battery.I think it was grounding out..Will look for a nick in wire in the morning...Todd
What sensors take over once close loop occurs???I am having a sputtering/stumbling problem as soon as the loop closes(160 degrees).. The car runs great till then...Thanks,Todd
Hey Chuck....The problem is back.....I have brain stormed and recreated events....The last part I touched was the maf, before closing the hood...87NAT has a known good used stock maf...The problem took a lot longer to appear.I will post the results on the swap....Todd
Hey Chuck...I have put about twenty miles on the car since changing the crank sensor...No problems yet...Now that I think about it,the crank sensor is functional 100% of the time...Correct??? Todd
Well guys..I think I fixed the problem..Decided to knock the dust off of the new crank sensor, that I have had in my tool box...The old sensor appeared to have oil/road grime residue between the sensor ports.I guess that had something to do with the failure. Thanks for all the suggestions..Todd
